Empowering Liberia Through Education

At Crowd for Causes, we are proud to support organizations making a real impact. One of those organizations is the Schools for Justice Foundation (SFJ), dedicated to equipping, educating, and empowering the people of Liberia through transformative educational initiatives.

A Mission of Resilience and Hope

Liberia has faced immense challenges, from civil wars to the Ebola epidemic, leaving much of its infrastructure in disrepair. Despite these hardships, SFJ remains steadfast in its mission to provide accessible education and support to those in need.

Through their Liberian Children's Rescue Orphanage and Mercy Night School, they offer opportunities for children and adults to learn, grow, and pursue brighter futures.

  • Liberian Children's Rescue Orphanage: Supporting 36 children and 11 staff members, the orphanage provides shelter, education, and vocational training. Recent graduates are now pursuing careers in nursing, retail, and even university studies.
  • Mercy Night School: With 220 adult learners, this tuition-free program empowers students like Mary Karlor, a 58-year-old determined to elevate her career by gaining her high school diploma. The school's 100% pass rate for the Western African Education Council Exam is a testament to its success.

Building a Stronger Digital Presence

To help SFJ amplify its mission, we partnered with them to create a user-friendly, impactful website. The redesigned site provides clear navigation for supporters, donors, and those seeking to learn more about their programs. With enhanced storytelling, a streamlined donation process, and dedicated sections for updates and success stories, SFJ’s online presence now truly reflects the power of their work.

Storytelling has always been at the heart of nonprofit work. Long before digital platforms, organizations relied on community events, newsletters, and face-to-face conversations to share their mission. Now, in an age where a single post can reach thousands in moments, the ability to tell a compelling story online has become one of the most powerful tools a nonprofit can use. At Crowd For Causes, we’ve seen the way authentic storytelling can move people to take action. More than marketing, it’s a way to create lasting connections between a cause and its community.

At Crowd for Causes, we’ve worked alongside dozens of purpose-driven teams—and we’ve seen firsthand how these tools can free up time, increase efficiency, and help nonprofits focus on what matters most: making a difference.

When someone visits your nonprofit’s website, they’re often inspired by your mission. But if they don’t know what to do next, they’re likely to click away. A strong call to action (CTA) turns a passive visitor into an active supporter. Whether you want them to donate, volunteer, attend an event, or sign up for your newsletter, your CTA should make the next step obvious and easy.

At Crowd For Causes, we know that a nonprofit’s website is often the first place a potential donor, volunteer, or supporter will go to learn about your mission. That first impression matters—and a strong website is your best tool for growing support and driving action. Here are five essentials every nonprofit should have on their website:

At Crowd for Causes, we believe that a powerful mission deserves a powerful digital presence. That’s why we’re proud to announce that we’re partnering with the Conservation Lands Foundation to migrate their website to the Duda platform. The Conservation Lands Foundation is on the front lines of protecting America’s public lands and waters—spaces that are essential not only to our country’s identity but to our environment, economy, and communities. Their mission is clear: to protect, restore, and expand the National Conservation Lands through education, advocacy, and partnerships . From national monuments to wilderness areas, the Foundation works to ensure that these irreplaceable landscapes are safeguarded from exploitation and preserved for future generations. In the face of mounting threats—including the largest public lands sell-off in U.S. history—their leadership is more important than ever. With an unwavering commitment to advocacy, they amplify the voices of people who believe that America’s public lands are not for sale .

At Crowd for Causes, we believe in using design to drive impact. That’s why we were proud to partner with Conejo Free Clinic , a vital nonprofit offering free medical, dental, and legal services to those in need throughout Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. For over 40 years, Conejo Free Clinic has served as a beacon of hope for individuals and families who face financial, systemic, or language barriers to care. From routine medical checkups and dental cleanings to complex legal guidance, their team of compassionate professionals and volunteers ensures that no one is left behind. Whether it's a patient receiving life-changing dental work or someone finding legal clarity through a volunteer attorney, the stories of transformation coming out of this clinic are truly inspiring. When Conejo Free Clinic approached Crowd for Causes, their website didn’t fully reflect the life-saving work they do every day. Our mission was to create a digital home that’s as welcoming and accessible as the care they provide .
